AmeriQuest Enhances Technology Product Line

July 6, 2005, Cherry Hill, NJ – In the continuous pursuit to assist customers in gaining efficiencies, AmeriQuest Transportation and Logistics Resources Corp. has expanded its technology offerings. New technology additions include a pilot freight matching program, transportation management tools, GPS asset tracking, digital delivery acknowledgement, and fleet management systems.

AmeriQuest is running a freight matching program to evaluate the possible advantages of exchanging freight between a controlled test group of carriers and private fleets. The program benefits include reduced deadhead miles, maximized revenue opportunities, and reduced driver layovers.

In association with Paradox Software Consulting, AmeriQuest currently offers two products, Quest Route and Quest Scheduler to provide logistics professionals with tactical and strategic insight into their operation. Quest Route is a pay-as-you-go routing and scheduling tool. Quest Scheduler is designed to maximize the utilization of vehicles while minimizing the amount of vehicles on the road. Future additions include Quest Load Match and Quest Yard Manager.

Through the use of Trimble Mobile Solutions’ TrimTrac™ locator, AmeriQuest delivers low-cost asset tracking solutions. The solution is based on a Global Positioning System (GPS) and cellular communications. The palm-sized device allows fleet operators to monitor the location of cargo, trailers, heavy equipment, and other high value assets via the Internet.

In collaboration with TeleCommunication Systems, Inc., AmeriQuest provides 20/20 Delivery, a wireless proof-of-delivery business solution. With this service, a customer has complete visibility into the supply chain, from package and vehicle tracking, to driver management and cost containment.

Through an exclusive partnership with Richer Systems Group, AmeriQuest has developed AmeriQuest Fleet Management powered by enrich for private fleets and carriers. The system is comprised of four models which include the following features: complete equipment life cycle management, maintenance scheduling, integrated work order and purchase order system, warranty recovery, vendor management, availability tracking, technician and facility management, and equipment and component performance.
